تابعت وزارة الداخلية العراقية باهتمام كبير ما أعلنته منظمة الأمم المتحدة عن عمل عدد من مفاصل وتشكيلات الوزارة في مقدمتها الجهد المتميز في مكافحة الاتجار بالبشر والمخدرات والإجراءات المتخذة في حماية الأسرة والطفل ومتابعة ملف مكافحة الجريمة عبر الوطنية.
وفي الوقت الذي نثمن عالياً هذه الالتفاتة والإنصاف من قبل منظمة الأمم المتحدة نؤكد أن هذه الإشادة ستكون حافزاً لبذل المزيد من الجهود في تعزيز الأمن والاستقرار العراقي ومواصلة التعاون مع جميع الدول والمنظمات الحكومية لمنع الجريمة العابرة للحدود من خلال تفعيل الاتفاقيات والمعاهدات الدولية، فضلاً عن الإسهام الفعال في المؤتمرات الدولية وتوفير التسهيلات للعمل المشترك.
ونود الإشارة الى أن وزارة الداخلية ومن أجل أن تكون في مصاف الدول المتقدمة في المجالات الأمنية والخدمية فإنها مستمرة في إدخال الأجهزة والمعدات الحديثة ووضع الخطط التدريبية التخصصية ومتابعة التطور الحاصل في مجال التكنولوجيا والمعدات الأمنية.
نتقدم بخالص الشكر الى منظمة الأمم المتحدة على جهودها في متابعة عملنا والإعلان عنه في مختلف التخصصات التي تعمل بها الوكالات والدوائر.
The Iraqi Ministry of Interior has followed with great interest the recent announcement by the United Nations, regarding the work of several of the Ministry’s departments and units. This recognition highlights our distinguished efforts in combating human trafficking and drugs, protecting families and children, and the work regarding the file of transnational crime.
We deeply appreciate the UN acknowledgment, and such recognition supports our efforts in promoting security and stability across Iraq. Furthermore, it reinforces commitment to continued cooperation with international partners, including countries and governmental organizations, to prevent and combat transnational crime through the activation of relevant international treaties and agreements, in addition to participating in international conferences and facilitating joint efforts.
As part of our ongoing mission to be among the most advanced nations in the security and service sectors, the Ministry continues to adopt modern equipment and technology, and implement specialized training programs.
We extend our appreciation to the United Nations for the valuable role in observing and recognizing our achievements across the diverse fields in which its agencies and departments work.
